Reverse: Hercules holding club, lion's skin over arm; legend surrounding
Custom mounted into a 14k yellow gold bezel pendant, measuring approximately 1.75 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom of the bezel, 1 and 3/8ths inches across.
A rich and fertile island off the southern coast of Thrace, Thasos possessed prolific gold mines and had a controlling interest in many of the silver mines on the mainland.
