This hand made piece of estate jewelry is about 75 years old. Its condition is perfect. 138 round and 10 baguette diamonds total approximately 4.75 carats.
The diamonds are all very much alive, making the pin appear to be "on fire." Our average estimated grade is F/G color and VS2 clarity.
While it is made of platinum the double pin back is 14K white gold, as is often the case with fine platinum jewelry. There is a white gold wire spring clip that creates friction with the pin back, creating sturdy support for the entire piece.
The custom made pin is clearly one-of-a-kind. We could find no listing of the maker's name marked on the back: Bovy or Bony followed by the word Nice which is presumably Nice, France.
