Obverse: Laureate bust of Hadrian legend HADRIANVS AVG COS III PP surrounding.
Reverse: Salus standing, holding scepter and sacrificing out of patera over lighted altar, legend SALVS AVG surrounding.
Custom mounted into a 14k yellow gold bezel pendant with 14k white gold prongs and bail. Measures approximately 1 and 1/8 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom of the bezel, ¾ of an inch across.
Successor to Trajan and third of the Adoptive Emperors, Hadrian was one of Rome's most capable Emperors and most remembered for the building of the famous "Hadrian's Wall" separating England and Scotland.
