Bohemond VII of Antioch was the count of Tripoli and Prince of Antioch from 1275 until his death in 1287. The majority of his reign was spent at war with the Templars during the Crusades. In 1289 Tripoli was surrendered to the Mamluks, ending the production of these coins with the distinction of being the last to be struck in a “crusader state”.
