The Spearpoint "Winners Circle" features a lightweight titanium frame inlaid with Fordite scales.
Fordite ( aka 'Motor City Agate') is the formation of years of old paint drippings at Ford by the now extinct practice of hand spray-painting production cars in automotive factories. Excess paint gradually built up on the tracks and skids creating quite colorful layers. The layers were hardened repeatedly in the same ovens used to cure paint on car bodies by being baked over and over.
William Henry was able to process and incorporate some of this "waste' material into handles of 100 custom made knives. This one is serial number 8.
